يوم الخميس 31 ءاب 1995 امتدت يد الغدر والإجرام
والعمالة لتطال أحد رموز وعلماء الدين الإسلامي، ألا وهو سماحة الشيخ نزار حلبي رحمه الله، فأفرغوا من أفواه بنادقهم المأجورة رصاصات حقدهم الأعمى للإسلام والمسلمين
On August 31st 1995, His Eminence Shaykh Nizar al-Halabi was
assassinated by masked gunmen as he was leaving his home to the
Association offices in Beirut.
Later that day, the Board of Directors met in an
emergency session, and elected His Eminence Shaykh Husam Qaraqirah,
Vice President of the Association of Islamic Charitable Projects at
the time, for the office of President. In an acceptance speech, His
Eminence Shaykh Husam Qaraqirah promised to continue the journey his
late predecessor started. He renewed the commitment of the
Association of Islamic Charitable Projects to moderation and to keep
on spreading authentic Islamic knowledge. |
